It probably wouldn’t be that bad given that all the delicate parts (the front aero) were taken off. The impact would hit suspension and the sturdiest part of the frame. And it’s Technic so not really as liable to blow itself to bits.

Makes sense. I have the Technic LMP to build, and didn’t get the motor pack because I just imagined hating myself after crashing it into a wall.

Standard Lego motors don’t really have enough power to break most parts through power (the old 8 tooth gears are very easy to break) and any single vehicle collisions are going to be relatively low speed. Here’s a good video to start if you really want to RC it.
I personally have dabbled in rock crawlers and off road vehicles and with Technic, they hold together really well (even if you do make a little mistake and it goes tumbling)
This little red one has 2 L motors and pushrod suspension.
